物質材料工学専攻・修士１年生のYanni Zhouさん（多賀谷基博 准教授 研究室在籍）が、The 20th Asian BioCeramics Symposium においてポスター発表賞を受賞しました。

受賞研究内容

The coating technique of calcium phosphate (CP) on biomedical polymers is important in medical Hydroxyapatite MAO as a main CP mineral exists in bone tissue, which can be coated on the polymer to effectively induce the adhesion, proliferation and differentiation of cells. Therefore the precipitating process of HAI) on the polymer matrix is important for biomimetic preparation process. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as a biologically-suitable polymer has been widely used in biomedical applications. In this study, citric acid (CA) as the nucleation site was used to modify the PVA films through the surface modification or crosslinking technique. The CP particle precipitation behavior on the films with the different functional group exposure states was investigated through the immersion in a simplified simulated body fluid.
