技術科学イノベーション系・GD3 NGUYEN BA LAMさん(河原成元 教授、山野将輝 助教 研究室在籍)が、令和7年12月3日にタイ・バンコクで開催されたInternational Rubber Conference 2025において最優秀口頭発表賞を受賞しました。International Rubber Conferenceは、ゴム科学およびゴム技術分野における国際的に最も権威ある学術会議であり、毎年開催され、世界各国が持ち回りで主催しています。2025年は、12月1日から12月3日にかけて開催されました。

 

受賞研究題目

Critical Concentration of Primary Amines for Preparation of Vulcanized Deproteinized Natural Rubber with Outstanding Mechanical Properties

 

受賞概要

The International Rubber Conference (IRC) is one of the most prestigious international scientific conferences in the field of rubber science and technology. It is held annually and hosted by different countries worldwide. This year, IRC 2025 was convened from December 1 to December 3 in Bangkok, Thailand.
As part of the conference program, the award ceremony for Oral Presentations and Poster Presentations was held on the final day. At this event, Nguyen Ba Lam, a doctoral student at Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) and a member of Professor Seiichi Kawahara’s research laboratory, delivered a presentation that was highly evaluated by the scientific committee and was awarded First Prize in the Oral Presentation category. The award was determined based on the scientific quality of the research content and the clarity and effectiveness of the presentation, as evaluated by experts in the field of rubber science.
The awarded work was presented under the title “Critical Concentration of Primary Amines for Preparation of Vulcanized Deproteinized Natural Rubber with Outstanding Mechanical Properties.” The study employed Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to analyze the structure of vulcanized natural rubber materials, thereby contributing to a clearer understanding of the role of chemical concentration in optimizing the mechanical properties of rubber materials.
